Hi
I'm hooloovoo. I'm 21. Where I'm from is kind of complicated, I was born in Connecticut, moved to Texas, lived there for 10 years, lived in Washington for a year, then five more years in Texas. Since then I've been mostly wandering around. I consider Washington my home, but I spent most of last year in Texas because my dad was sick and that's where he lives. I've also spent some time in Brazil, Venezuela, Costa Rica and Spain. Total, I've spent about a year living overseas. When I was in the US, I took colleges classes at a few different places. I've got almost exactly half of a bachelors degree. I'm starting at Prescott College, in Arizona, in the fall. It's this tiny liberal arts school with a big emphasis on outdoors type stuff. I'm going to major in Latin American Studies, and probably minor in something outside. After I graduate, I'll either go to law school or move to South America and be the world's most qualified adventure tour guide.
I grew up with music. I don't have the natural talent of most of my family, but I can play bass and drums alright. I'm genderqueer and bisexual. I have 6 tattoos and one piercing. I have opinions on everything, but I listen a lot better than I used to. I read a lot of science fiction. I like other stuff, but non-sci-fi is less likely to catch my interest. On the other hand, it was only recently that I realized that I could just stop reading a book I didn't like, and I still finish almost everything. I got a Kindle for Christmas last year, it's greatest thing ever. I like local stuff. I'm one of those people who will, on a road trip, stop at every view point and World's Largest Whatever. If I collect anything, it's t-shirts. They're the only souvenir I ever buy. So I have shirts from concerts and this random waterpark in central Texas and a Support Local Music shirt from Austin and a mountain biking shirt from Whistler and on and on and on.
Birthday: March 28, 1988
Country: USA
So... I would like....
Tacky Souvenirs from your city. T-shirts (size medium) are a plus, but really, anything. The sillier the better.
Gluten free food. (I have celiac disease) Lots of GF food can be ordered online. It's expensive, too spendy for me, so I eat a lot of rice and things with corn tortillas. (Things with corn tortillas is a food group in hooloovooland.)
Books! Any book. In English, preferably, or Spanish if it's a fairly simple one.
On amazon.com I have three wishlists. One for books that are on kindle, one for books that aren't, and one for things that aren't books.
Knitting stuff. Seriously, that bizarrely colored yarn at the bottom of your stash? I totally want that.
Hardcore backpacking boots, women's size 7.5. I need them for school, and that's really a lot of money to pay for shoes.
Haven't got an address partner thingie. Message me, I suppose?
